If you would like to complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles, you may contact our Privacy Officer. We may ask you to put your complaint in writing and to provide relevant details. We may discuss your complaint with our personnel and our service providers and others as appropriate. We will respond to your complaint in a reasonable period of time (usually within 30 days).

Life Library does not generally disclose personal information to third parties. In some circumstances personal information may be disclosed to third parties who perform services on behalf of Life Library for the purpose of providing you with goods and services. . Life Library requires third parties who receive your personal information to comply with Australian Privacy laws. Life Library does not sell or rent any personal information.  

Storage of information 

The personal information obtained by Life Library is stored electronically on servers either controlled by Life Library or by its contracted third parties who are also bound to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles or laws which offer the same or better protection for your privacy.  

Life Library takes measures to ensure your personal information is protected from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration. We also take measures to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when it is no longer required. The types of measures we take vary with the type of information, and how it is collected and stored.

Jurisdiction: Your use of our Site and these Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts operating in Queensland and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts and waive any right to object to proceedings being brought in those courts.
